Joanne Finnegan has been an educator for over 35 years. Her teaching career began in New York State, with a move to Vermont in 1983. She received her Master's Degree in Education with a Technology Concentration from St. Michael's College in 1999. Joanne has been a middle and high school math teacher, a high school computer programming teacher, an elementary school technology coordinator, and is currently the Technology Integration Specialist for Chittenden East Supervisory Union, serving eight of the nine schools, grades K - 12. Obviously a digital immigrant, Joanne believes that all educators can integrate the use of technology to support their students' learning and works patiently to encourage teachers and staff to take a leap into the digital age and trust their students to use technology that a digital immigrant may not be comfortable using. The material on these pages consists of resources to support the supervisory union curriculum, workshop materials, and other helpful links for the teachers and staff of CESU. Many of the links posted here were collected during workshops and classes as teachers developed standards-based lessons and are offered here for their colleagues.
